Heron
Luxury lodge Heron is our largest lodge and like all others is five star accredited by Visit Britain. This three-bedroom spacious lodge is just the place for a short break or quiet week away with the family during the summer or at Christmas.
The lodge has high quality furnishings and solid oak floor throughout the open plan lounge and dining area. Log burner, digital TV, DVD and video player are all provided and now also has WiFi. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.

This five star log cabin has two double bedrooms with lake views. One double bedroom has an ensuite shower room whilst the other double bedroom is near the bathroom. The twin room has two single 3' beds and overlooks the weir.
The main family bathroom has a sauna, bath as well as a separate shower. Heron also has a custom built wetroom with grab rails.
This log cabin also has its own boat moored near the decking and a BBQ.
This luxury self catering log cabin is all on one level. Access to the lake is via the ramp at the back of the lodge. There is also a ramp from the decking to the lakeside picnic area.
The dedicated parking space is a couple of steps from the lodge which is accessed via a gentle ramp designed with the wheelchair user in mind.
Accessibility
Heron is a three-bedroom accessible lodge with hot-tub, bath and sauna. This lodge has accessible double rooms and has a tailor made accessible shower room with grab rails.
Access to the lodge is via a gentle ramp about ½ metre away from the parking area. The lodge door is a 76cm wooden stable door that leads into the hallway. The kitchen can be accessed by a short corridor to the right and the lounge/dining room is straight ahead from the door. On the right before the lounge is the accessible shower room (aka wetroom). The kitchen leads into the dining room/lounge.
The French doors open onto a covered decking with a private lakeside hot-tub and there is a ramp down to the picnic area and the boat.
The bedrooms and the family bathroom/sauna are all off the hallway corridor to the left. Both double rooms have views of the lake and the twin bedroom overlooks the weir.
