Beautiful lodge and surroundings – We stayed in the Alder lodge and I have to say it was the loveliest place I have ever stayed in. Everything inside from bedding, bathrooms to kitchen equipment was provided to 5* level. Very private location. Stunning views across the lake. A must do for anyone who appreciates wildlife. Only sounds you could hear were the ducks, swans and birds. Very peaceful place. Lives up to its name.
