Things to do around the World Heritage sites

Things to do Carlisle
Carlisle is a historic city, each building with its own story to tell. The Castle, the Civic Centre building and Dixon’s chimney dominate the skyline, don’t be fooled by the lack of skyscrapers. The Castle, Cathedral and Dixon’s Chimney were the dominating economic influences of old.
The Castle is now home to the Military Museum of Cumbria, and The Torchlight Tours are a great way to get an insight into the bone-chilling journey into the past.
