We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Otter and will definitely be returning sometime in the near future. We stayed in Egret Lodge and it has everything you could possibly need. We were spoiled with a hot tub and sauna and amazing views of the lake from the back deck. The grounds of the lodge are so beautiful and tranquil and really make you feel like you're a million miles from civilization even though you're really only a short drive from the centre of Carlisle.
